Anne Marie Podgurski and Jim Rood "Moose" combined over 50 years of photographic experience just 5 years ago but one would think they had been teamed for a lifetime. Attention to detail, diverse interests and dedication to each endeavor has enabled them to provide customers with unique, strictly limited edition photos to enjoy for a lifetime.

Both Moose and Anne Marie have dabbled with photography since their teens, taking advantage of every opportunity to hone and expand their experiences. Anne Marie, a product of New Jersey and a career in textiles and early computer software programs was finally able to concentrate on photography after retiring nearly ten years ago. Moose, who grew up in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York and retired from the USDOT/FAA had used his photographic skills for many years as both a professional and casual photographer.

Photosbymoose concentrates mainly on the out-of-doors, nature and all that's around us.

In March 2008, we took a risk and stepped out of the "safe" box and created Sun Art, individual works of art made from original sunset photos. Each is preconceived and then painstakingly executed to demonstrate its intended result. It became apparent after a few pieces that we had created a whole new application of photo works. We are very pleased with our new product.

ARTIST STATEMENT:

Humbly we recognize that "The greatest artist on Earth, is not of this World." We can take credit for the photos but not for the beauty that has been carefully placed before our eyes.
